Goonellabah Pharmacy is found in the village of Goonellabah, adjacent to Lismore in the Northern Rivers Region of NSW. It is a rapidly growing area with a diverse population mix. Since 1986, the proprietor of Goonellabah Pharmacy, David Bootes, has endeavored to provide the best primary health care to the local community. This commitment is best illustrated in "best practice" primary health care, providing knowledge and support in the areas of illness, preventive medicine and nutrition. The aim is to help patients focus on positive health behaviour and good self care. Specific areas of support include written information on prescription drugs, medicines and herbal products, including interactions and side effects. Comprehensive medication reviews are also made available, by appointment.
The pharmacy has undergone a series of refits and expansion of trading area in recent years, and its interior reflects a totally modern environment, well stocked and well serviced, with highly trained staff. The entire operation is underpinned with "state of the art" technology, with most internal systems being computerised.
