TIWI ISLAND UPDATE The Tiwi Pharmacy Project site at www.rollomanning.com/tiwi.html has posted to it three (3) Power Point presentations given over the past three months at Conferences or meetings in Darwin (March 4), Canberra (March 21) and Sydney (May 31). The presentations have been developed in Microsoft Office XP and may be slow in downloading. The first of these on March 4 gave an update on progress after six months and was delivered to a gathering of interested stakeholders in remote health on the occasion of Gerard Stevens ’s visit to see the pharmacy at the three Tiwi Health Clinics. The second was delivered to the National Prescribing Service Symposium on the quality use of medicine in Canberra . It is designed to outline how the Tiwi Health Board is hoping to improve quality in way pharmaceuticals are supplied to clients. At an E-Pharma Conference in Sydney in May, organised by the Institute of International Research . The touch screen program for inventory control and dispensing was explained.
