Computachem
Services provides a range of standard "off the shelf" promotional
packages or promotional ideas, that can be adapted for use in any pharmacy
environment. They are developed solely for e-commerce sites, but can also
be utilised to enhance "bricks and mortar" promotional activity.
Although the promotional packages are branded, they are not intended to
compete with, or replace, market group products.
The
primary brand name used to identify our promotional range is "Frontline".
Divisions
of Frontline include:
* Window Display
* Showcase
* Top 500
* Chemist Express
* Friendship Exchange
The
"Window Display" is a monthly report on a range of eight to
twelve products that should be appearing at the entrance to your e-commerce
site. It is also the title for one page of an e-commerce site.
These products would represent a sensitive range that may be targeted
by other online pharmacy sites. The monthly alert ensures your market
share protection by being able to actively compete in a timely fashion.
Included in this report are two products that may be key items or entry
points to markets not fully exploited.
Graphics are included in the report.
As an extension. the Window Display page on your site can be totally managed
by Computachem Services under a maintenance agreement, or you simply purchase
the reports and provide your own maintenance.
The report frequency would also be upgraded to a fortnightly or weekly
service, depending on levels of competition.
The
"Showcase" is a suggested grouping of specialty products
that you may wish to target. It is also the title for one ore more pages
on an e-commerce website.
Showcases include such markets as giftware, perfumery, photographic equipment,
exercise equipment, computer accessories etc.
The range exhibited in each showcase would approximate eight to twelve
items and can be managed at two levels:
* A showcase of products you actually hold in stock
* A showcase of products that you do not hold in stock, but can arrange
quick delivery from your supplier.
The
"Top 500" is a suggested pricelist for the best selling
items in e-pharmacy.
They will not necessarily be the 500 best selling items out of your "bricks
and mortar" pharmacy, because of the nature of the e-consumer. The
pricelist is updated monthly and prices are suggested only.
Coupled with this list will be information on suppliers and where the
best prices and delivery services can be obtained. This will be formatted
as a newsletter and will include other relevant market intelligence.
"Chemist
Express" is the name given to a designated range of promotional
activity designed to raise the visibility of your site. The concept is
about introducing goods and services to e-consumers as directly and as
quickly as possible.
It
involves such activities as gaining top listing in the most popular search
engines, identifying how,when and where to advertise your domain name,
developing consumer publications to teach online e-pharmacy shopping,
identifying rewards for consumers using your site, catalogue production
and the cross-fertilisation of your "bricks and mortar" site
with your online site, creating interactivity between target groups of
consumers and your online site, the issuing of press releases and a whole
checklist of in-store activities designed to raise your online profile.
"Friendship
Exchange" is the name given to our range of loyalty clubs and
partnership exchanges. These are dealt with in more detail in the next
section on Loyalty Clubs.
